The Invitation cont'd

At the core of who I am, lies longing yet to be satisfied by anyone or anything found on this side of eternity. Encompassed by desire burns a flame, spirit. It burns for one thing, Christ alone. This illumination isn't the point, more simply an invitation into the depths of His love. Past striving, past morality, through a door framed by holiness, humility, suffering and grace. As far as I can see there seems to be no end, the invitation having no limits as far as depth is concerned, endless. "You can go as far as you want to." In this place, rationalization is striving, while the eb and flow of giving and receiving of His love are the only currency needed for the journey. Knowledge is Christ. Faith is how I reach out and touch the invisible.

God's economy
Sometimes, The God of More than Enough asks you to take just enough for the day (manna for the children of Israel) and other times He says, take as much as you want/need (feeding the 5,000). Either way, the lesson is still the same, He supplies.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my Shepherd. When I submit to His leading I want for nothing. When he's leading, I'm lead into places of solitude and prayer. I'm lead by His Spirit to the waters, still waters and my soul is restored by His word and His message. He then leads me to places of right standing for His renown. Even though I walk through literal valley's where death casts it's shadow, I don't fear because The Lord is with me. His protection alone is comfort. He prepares a meeting place for He and I in the presence of opposition and anoints me for this task of being lead by Him. Provision is plentiful, so much so that I can't even contain it. Goodness and love bring up the rear every day of my life and finally, I reach my destination, the house of the Lord.
